Control Panel (Access Problems)

Where do I go to find my Control Panel so that I can work on my website?

Your Control Panel is located at your website's domain name with ”/manage” at the end, like this:

yourwebsitename.com/manage

I can't get into my Control Panel. What's up?

Please make sure that you are typing everything exactly. 99.9% of the time, this problem occurs because of typos. Yes, even the best of us make typoz sometiems. Easy places to slip up are adding or subtracting an “s” or another letter, using a comma instead of a period, or typing the incorrect letters for the beginning of a free trial address.

Your login should be your EXACT website name, something like:

mywebsitename.com

Your password must be typed in exactly as well. If you have forgotten your password, you can have it reset using the link below. It will be sent to the billing email address you have provided us with.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

If you forgot your password and can't access your Control Panel, you can reset your password from your Control Panel's login screen and it will be emailed to your billing address. Your Control Panel is located at your domain name, with /manage typed after it, like this: yourdomain.com/manage

Just click where it says “If you have lost your password, have it reset and emailed to you.”

You can also just use the password reset link below:

Your password will go to the billing email address you have listed in your account with us.

Please write it down in a safe place! :)

My billing email address is out-of-date so password reset won't work.

Oh dear. Well, never fear. OPP to the rescue! Just send an email to support@otherpeoplespixels.com with your name and website address and we can help get your account in order.

I'm *definitely* typing my login information correctly, but I can't get into my Control Panel.

Does the system appear to allow you to log in, but then logs you out and asks you to log in again?

If so, you probably have cookies disabled in your browser. If cookies are turned off, each time it your Control Panel will check and see that you're not logged in (because it doesn't find the cookie) and log you out.

Enable cookies for your Control Panel or browser wide and this should solve the problem. You can also use another with cookies already enabled browser if you'd prefer.

When I log into my Control Panel, I get the error "The password you entered was not correct."

This is the computer telling you that you are using the wrong password or you are making a typo. Oops!

You can reset your password from your Control Panel's login screen and it will be emailed to your billing address. Just click where it says “If you have lost your password, have it reset and emailed to you.”

You can also just use the password reset link below:

When I log into my Control Panel, I get the error "You did not enter your correct website or trial name".

You are typing in the wrong website name or you are making a typo. No need to be embarrassed, it happens to the best of us!

Easy places to slip up are adding or subtracting an “s” or another letter, using a comma instead of a period, or typing the incorrect letters for the beginning of a free trial address.

You may type in your website with or without the http: or www. part at the beginning, but you MUST type the domain ending — such as .com or .net.
